Tostadas Campeche ha logrado posicionarse en el gusto de la gente de los 2 Laredos gracias al servicio y rico sabor de sus tostadas gigantes de pechuga de pollo, tacos, consomé de pollo, flautas y enmoladas.

Fue hace 25 años que una dinámica y emprendedora mujer, Ana Norberta Limón Zertuche, tuvo la visión de iniciar su vida empresarial en un sector donde prácticamente no existían restaurantes. Siendo una de las pioneras de lo que hoy es la calle Campeche, misma que se extiende hasta el boulevard Ruiz Cortines. Trabajo, esfuerzo y pasión por hacer de Tostadas Campeche el mejor restaurante en su giro, le permiten celebrar sus primeros 25 años.
Tostadas Campeche abrió sus puertas al público en general un 16 de octubre de 1993, a media cuadra de donde se ubican hoy.
LM: ¿Hay una anécdota de cómo surgió el nombre de ‘‘Tostadas Campeche’’?
ALZ: Sí, muy pocos lo saben pero antes sólo nos llamábamos ‘‘Las Tostadas de la Campeche’’ , pero un buen día hubo mucho viento, lo que provocó que se quebrara el anuncio de acrílico. Fue una oportunidad para cambiarlo ya que escuchaba que los clientes y amigos cuando hablaban por sus celulares o por radio, y les preguntaban dónde estaban decían estamos en ‘‘Tostadas Campeche’’ y así fue como cambié el nombre, mismo que es marca registrada en México y E.U.
‘‘Me llena de entusiasmo el atender al cliente y hacerlo sentir como en casa’’, nos comenta la sra Ana Limón con un brillo en sus ojos. – ‘‘La calidad, esmero, cuidado e higiene con que preparamos los alimentos, nos ha mantenido. Ya que siempre me he encargado que el personal que ha sido parte del crecimiento del restaurante, atiendan y preparen los alimentos como si fueran para su familia’’.
